Production Name

When developing ideas for the trailer we wanted to produce a production name instead of using an already existing production company, which making our own production company would make the trailer look more professional in the trailer as well as the other products I will create. When producing a name our group brain stormed different words and stringing them together to see how they would sound

Overall out of the names we produced we decided on Loftlight Productions. This being because of the two main words in the name ‘Loft Light’ with a horror genre a loft is often the scene of many horror films and being the focus point of a creepy film, the second half of the name being Light is to follow on with the loft light when using a light in the loft as a loft is often a dark place to be. For our introduction in the trailer to make the production company name stand out we will create an ident that involves a loft and its door closing down on the camera followed by a striking a match and it illuminating the text ‘Loftlight Productions’ which will be drawn on to the surface in a hand writing to give it an edgy effect.
